Successful candidates will possess an entrepreneurial drive, relevant skills, and experience in accounting & controlling, along with a strong passion for digitizing group finance & controlling – both conceptually and in implementation.
Your key responsibilities
• Advising clients on CPM strategy & transformation roadmap as well as on the optimization of processes in the field of Group Accounting & Consolidation, Planning and Reporting (e.g., Disclosure, Management Reporting, ESG, BEPS etc.)
• Development of concepts for integrated corporate performance management data models as well as innovative group consolidation, planning, scenario and simulation approaches
• Advising on CPM system and Record-to-Report process standardization with regards to optimization of the consolidated financial statement preparation as well as automation and integration of external and internal group reporting
• Supporting clients on related CPM software selection processes
• Designing and implementing professional CPM software solutions in the above-mentioned areas – mainly in cutting-edge tools such as CCH Tagetik or comparable solutions.
• Collaborating with your team to support the acquisition of new projects and assisting in creating sales presentations
• Supporting the further growth of our consulting team as well as Satriun’s service offering.
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role, you must have:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred in Accounting/Finance).
• Further relevant professional education is a plus (e.g., Certified Accountant/Controller, CPA, ACCA, CFA, or comparable).
• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in audit or financial reporting consulting, preferably at one of the Big 4 accounting firms or leading consulting firms, or in industry in a group accounting/controlling function.
• Good understanding of IFRS (any other accounting standard is a plus) and finance and/or controlling processes.
• Sound knowledge/experience of group financial consolidation and Record-to-Report processes.
• Relevant experience with different CPM solutions like CCH Tagetik, OneStream, HFM, SAP FC/BPC/BCS, LucaNet, or IBM Cognos Controller is an asset; Knowledge of relevant ERP, DWH, or BI solutions (e.g., SAP FI/CO, BW, SAC, PowerBI, or comparable) is a plus.
• Passion for the digitization of finance processes and systems. Above all, you bring along enthusiasm and motivation for the “hands-on” configuration and roll-out of leading CPM software solutions.
• Proactive, flexible, and team-oriented from concept and design through to implementation of CPM solutions. Intellectual curiosity and willingness to go “the extra mile”, to travel, demonstrate flexibility, and resilience.
• Ability to build relevant internal and external networks in a fast-paced and international environment, investing in sustainable relationships.
• Fluency in English (written & spoken) is a prerequisite (for all locations).
